Switchboard Upgrades
Companies that house data centers can hit their power limit quickly. A panelboard helps to manage power flow properly. Panelboards are designed to allow maximum flexibility of circuit arrangement and to secure a balanced electrical load on each phase, achieved through a sequence phase connection of branch circuit devices. Our panelboard solutions ensure that current-carrying parts are protected from damage and that equipment operates at the highest standards.
Electrical Power Installations
Most data centers source their primary electricity supply from the municipal electric grid. The facility will then have one or several transformers to take in the energy and convert the incoming power to the right voltage and the right type of current (typically from AC to DC ). Our electrical engineers can assess your facility and ensure the right equipment and process are in place for optimal protection and performance.
Earthing Systems
Our datacenter grounding is designed to exceed code regulations. The Code minimum is to protect life but not necessarily to protect critical equipment installations. There are various codes and standards relative to grounding, lightning protection, and sensitive equipment grounding. Contingency Power Supply Equipment
A Uniterutped Power Supply (UPS) is a reserve power supply that provides enough energy to provide enough time to correctly power down your equipment when a power failure occurs. An UPS unit manages the power flow in times of emergency when facilities switch from mains to a generator. When used in conjunction with a facility generator, an UPS unit can ensure a continuous power supply to your facility even in extended power outages.
